Andy January 18, 2011 I was having this problem every day with my new Asus board, which has a Radeon HD 4200 built-in.

Note: For example: Asus p4g8x- were shipped older drivers! I found that having a VIA chipset with an ATI card has issues with the AGP being default, so I switched it to PCI to PCI bridge. As you may understand I have the same problem with a brand new ATI 4650 with this ati2dvag "Display Driver stopped responding" problem. Did a full uninstall of latest ATI version with no CCC and reinstalled with CCC included.
